Durhamstown Castle is a short 45 minute drive from Dublin Airport (DUB).

We will have a ~35 person shuttle that will assist with transporting guests from the Newgrange Hotel, Trim Castle Hotel, Knightsbrook Hotel Spa and Golf Resort, and Decoy Country Cottages to Durhamstown Castle over the weekend. We will share a timetable for this option closer to the wedding date.
Driving & rental cars
🇺🇸 Warning: Cars on the island of Ireland drive on the left-hand side of the road. Irish laws are very strict and any level of drinking while driving is not permitted and highly penalized by the police.

Directions from Dublin Airport to Durhamstown Castle:
Take the M3 out of Dublin, heading Cavan/Kells direction. Take Exit 8 (Navan South) off M3. At roundabout go left for Navan; follow road past town. About a mile the far side of the town, turn at Newgate Motors. We are the 3rd TURN LEFT off this road. Durhamstown Castle is the Second on the right.

Public Transportation
There is bus service between Dublin and Navan town centre and Trim town centre that can get you from or take you to many places in Dublin (including the airport). It will not take you directly to some of our accommodation locations or the Castle, so plan accordingly, however, the service is affordable and effective. You can purchase tickets beforehand or with cash on the day of. Please review the website for further information and if you have further questions, just let us know.
Public Transportation
There is bus service between Dublin central station and Navan town centre. This option has fewer pick-up and drop-off locations, however, is another affordable option. Please review the website for further information. If you have further questions, just let us know.
